Opportunity Update to Look at Air, Water Quality and Milltown Sediment

The performance of the Milltown sediments as a growth medium at the BP-ARCO repository is one of the subjects of a public meeting in Opportunity set for Nov. 2.

Speakers from EPA, CFRTAC and Water and Environmental Technologies (WET) will present results of a ground water sampling, air/dust monitoring and the performance of Milltown sediments as a cap on the repository's cells. There will be time for question and anwer with the presenters.

The meeting will held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Opportunity Community Center.  It's sponsored by Anaconda - Deer Lodge County,  the Opportunity Citizens Protective Association (OCPA), the EPA, and CFRTAC.
