Traffic Concerns Voiced at Milltown Community Health and Safety Meeting
November 14, 2006

The Missoulian recently featured coverage of a Milltown Superfund community health and safety meeting in which local concerns about traffic were discussed. In the next year, for short periods at a time, the Milltown cleanup could add 20 to 60 haul trucks a day to the more than 2000 vehicles that pass through Piltzville daily. Some residents voiced concerns — and frustrations — about the speed limit along Highway 210 through Piltzville. The Missoulian editorial page opined that the Montana Department of Transportation ought to listen.
