| Milltown Park Planning Effort Makes Front Page News |

November 1, 2007 The Missoulian recently featured front page coverage of the Milltown Superfund Redevelopment Working Group’s park planning efforts for the confluence of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers. The initial phase of design work is nearing a close with the completion of a second set of public meetings on the designs developed during a two-day workshop in September. The working group will convene later this month to review public comment and then narrow park options to a single plan, which will later be submitted to the Missoula County Commissioners for review and the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks for cost estimates. |
